Founder & Owner
Greg has been around and involved in the contracting world all his life. After learning the importance of quality customer service from his family’s contracting firm, Greg spent 10 years in the environmental engineering industry managing environmental clean-ups. Armed with the customer service skills he learned from his family’s business and the technical know-how acquired in the environmental engineering industry, Greg started his own contracting business, Stonehearth Remodeling, in 1999.
Cathy earned an Interior Design degree from UW-Stout and has been in the business for over 24 years.
She is our lead designer and works with our clients to create designs that bring their vision to life. Using software that allows her to create the new space and actually walk through it before it is built. Cathy then works with Shawn to ensure that the design is turned into reality by addressing the many hurdles that are common to remodeling.
Shawn is responsible for making sure that our projects are built to our quality standards and are finished on-time and on-budget. Shawn has been in residential construction for over 30 years and he has experience in a wide range of areas. This experience helps him excel in solving problems common to remodeling homes built at different times and according to different building codes. His experience and background make him perfect for the job of managing multiple trades and tasks from beginning to end.
Jenna is a 2014 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She manages our website and social media presence, and also serves as an assistant project manager.
Estimating & Sales
Chad is primarily responsible for our sales and estimating. He has several years of experience working in the field in the remodeling industry which gives him a uniquely qualified perspective on estimating things accurately and efficiently.
