Before & After
A before & after basement remodel story of a homeowner we had the privilege of working with.
These Champlin, MN homeowners moved into a house with an outdated and incomplete basement. The ceiling wasn’t assembled and the entire room stood in stark contrast to the rest of their home, making it feel old, outdated, and inconsistent with the rest of their home. They wanted to find a way to add a facelift to the room and make it a functional, modern, cozy hang out spot for family and friends! That’s when they started the conversation with Stonehearth Remodeling!
We began the process by walking through the home and talking with the owners about their vision for the space. We could see great potential in the basement and knew it was time to allow our designers to translate the homeowners’ vision into a dream design. This became one of our favorite small-scale basement remodels!
After agreeing on a design, we started the project which involved bringing a modern small-scale kitchen area, as well as a beautiful quartz island with a built-in wine storage unit, down to the basement. We finished the main hang-out area, keeping a balance between the chic white walls and the original natural wood to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
When all was said and done, the homeowners were incredibly happy with both the design as well as the process it took to get there!
