As the kitchen was adjacent to the living space, the goal was to visually connect the rooms while still creating a distinct kitchen area. To achieve that sense of separateness, we installed a two-seater peninsula at one end of the room. It’s a perfect spot for kids to do homework or for friends to gather and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
To complete the transformation, we:
